Crowned shields and heraldic compositions sit alongside interlaced monograms, notably on the cream seal in the bottom row. The variations in size, color, and relief create a set that is particularly pleasant to observe. Mounted on small papers accompanied by handwritten captions, these seals are perfect for framing to highlight their hues and details.

✦ Period: Late 19th / Early 20th century
✦ Provenance: antique collection of seals and signets
✦ Dimensions: approx. 30.5 × 21 cm
✦ Material: sealing wax, paper, and cardboard
✦ Content: 15 seal impressions
✦ Condition: good overall condition, several beautiful reliefs; cracks and small chips, some faded motifs, and one small blue seal partially preserved.

A collection of multicolored seals for lovers of antique monograms, heraldry, and curiosities to be framed.

https://brocantejolbro.com/en/products/collection-de-sceaux-polychromes-cires-pastel-bleues-et-argentees
