Superb set containing 12 bottles of vitreous pigments made by A. Lacroix & Cie (+ 1 small tube), a prestigious Parisian manufacturer established in 1855. These powdered pigments are presented in their original small bottles, which are full or nearly full, labeled in French, English, and German, attesting to the international distribution of these colors. The selection includes several rare pigments or pigments no longer manufactured, highly sought after by art collectors and restorers, such as the Rose Bengal, green Emerald, silver yellow, or even the Egyptian red .
These vitrifiable pigments were intended for ceramic and glass decoration. The original cardboard box with an illustrated label depicting the A. Lacroix & Cie factory is also present.
