Here is a selection inspired by the elegance of English grocery stores in the Edwardian era.

On the other side of the Channel, at the very beginning of the 20th century, behind the counters, merchants and manufacturers competed with creativity and refinement to present their products.

Old ceramic advertising jars (jams, marmalade, pickles, mustard...), painted metal price tags, boxes.... Utilitarian objects with simple lines and assertive typography, witnesses to a time when attention to detail and everyday elegance were the norm.
