A pretty rectangular lithographed tin box, one side depicting the Queen of Hearts holding a bottle of Cointreau with the inscription "Ask for a Cointreau," and the other showing a caricatured Pierrot enjoying the liqueur. The typography and warm color palette are typical of the 1920s. This box served as a case for a promotional deck of playing cards offered by the famous Angers-based company.
