"Un Junod – Anis Supérieur" promotional box for a card game

Rectangular lithographed tin box, illustrated with a cheerful Pierrot raising his arms, holding a bottle of anise liqueur, against a red and black diamond-patterned background. The inscription in gold lettering reads "UN JUNOD – ANIS SUPERIEUR" ( A Junod – Superior Anise). The reverse boasts of the most complete anise liqueur , and the inside bears the slogan "Compare Un Junod Anise to all other brands and you'll adopt it." A typical example of the humorous and visual advertising campaigns of the interwar period.
