This advertisement for Riz La + and Goudron La + cigarette papers is signed by the printer F. Javanaud in Angoulême . A printed calendar, dated 1899 , confirms its late 19th-century authenticity. The whole evokes a world of joyful, feminine modernity, blending cycling and floral elegance, in a delightfully Art Nouveau style.
