A rare hinged, lithographed metal pocket calendar, published in 1914 by the Jullian Frères factories in Béziers to promote their "Bouillie Bordelaise Céleste" vine treatment product. Inside, this advertising medium contained a small notebook (now missing) and a pencil inserted on the side. The complete calendar for 1914 is still legible despite some wear. The brightly colored illustrations of crates and sacks of agricultural products add to the charm of this doubly utilitarian and decorative piece, typical of Belle Époque advertising.
