Made of finely stamped brass decorated with crosshatching and scrolling foliage, it features a central embossed medallion bearing the inscription "CHOCOLAT MENIER". The domed lid is covered in its original brown velvet (pincushion), concealing a small storage compartment lined with green fabric.
