A rare advertising thermometer made of glass, illustrated with a cow with a curious muzzle, emerging from a brick wall. Signed after Henry Lermonnier, it promotes Saint-Paulin, Edam, Gouda, and Pont-l'Évêque cheeses distributed by R. Perreault in Bazouges (Mayenne). A fine example of rural and cheese advertising from the 1930s-40s, with its thermometer tube still present and functional.
