Large decorative album gathering 46 printed plates, including numerals, interlaced letters, fantasy monograms, and floral or symbolic compositions in various styles (Gothic, Renaissance, Rocaille, naturalist). Created by the ornamental artist Gustave Boussenot and published in Paris, this 19th-century work was intended for engravers, embroiderers, bookbinders, decorative painters, and lithographers. Each plate is a finely executed copperplate engraving (burin and etching on steel), with a well-defined plate mark and deep black impression. The compositions present monograms and numerals in Renaissance, Gothic, and fanciful styles. Original ribbon-tied binding, studio charm, complete with all plates.
