An antique teaching model of a human molar, made of hand-painted plaster and designed for teaching dental anatomy. This generously sized model (nearly 20 cm) opens in two parts to reveal a detailed longitudinal section of the tooth, illustrating the enamel, dentin, dental pulp, and nerves. The inner walls are finely engraved and painted in a style typical of early 20th-century teaching instruments. The rounded, slightly patinated exterior enhances the piece's decorative appeal. While some chips and scratches are visible, the model remains complete, legible, and highly decorative.
