An old four-page handwritten document featuring two contrasting hands: one fine and closely written, carefully aligned, the other freer, accompanied by signatures and flourishes. The first page bears an imperial tax stamp and a blind embossed crowned eagle, as well as a fine raised professional mark bearing the name of Ad. Tardeau, bailiff in Mennetou-sur-Cher. The text concerns foreclosure proceedings and the sale of property, with an extract from a judgment of the civil court of Romorantin dated May 28, 1864. An interesting piece for its graphic details, handwriting, and administrative markings from the Second Empire.
