Old enamel sheet metal funeral heart - approx. 15cm

Small antique enameled sheet metal funerary plaque in the shape of a heart, bearing the name Abel and the dates "1868-1958". On the patinated white background, the black inscriptions combine the phrase "Here rests" with the word "Regrets", arranged in an arch above a small flame. A thin black border follows the outline, highlighted by a patination with rusty brown hues. Its small size and sober composition give it a particular charm for display in a showcase or a cabinet of curiosities. The three mounting holes retain remnants of oxidized metal wires.
