Rare wall-mounted bouquet holder in fine earthenware from Creil & Montereau, modeled as a crumpled newspaper cone and printed with an image of an issue of Le Figaro from Thursday, November 15, 1883. The decoration finely reproduces subscription information, advertisements, and the names of Hippolyte de Villemessant, the newspaper's founder, and Fernand de Rodays, then administrator. A remarkable object of curiosity, at the crossroads of ceramics, the history of the press, and 19th-century advertising art.
