Old blown glass pharmaceutical bottle from the pharmacy J. Massonnet, located at 37 Grand Rue in Arlon (Belgium). Beautiful apothecary paper label with blue and black typography, handwritten mention "Dover's Powders 0.50". Dover's Powders were an old pharmaceutical preparation derived from the famous Dover's powder (Pulvis Ipecacuanhae et Opii), traditionally combining opium and ipecacuanha. The bottle retains its original ground glass stopper, with beautiful irregularities characteristic of old blown glass.
