Old blue glass pharmaceutical bottle from Laboratoires de l’Organotechnie FITO, with its original paper label for Splenin. Beautiful Art Nouveau style label mentioning the registered trademark FITO and the director A. Badreau, Doctor of Pharmacy, located at 34 rue Trevet in Aubervilliers (Seine), near Paris. Splenin was part of old organotherapy preparations, a medical discipline developed at the end of the 19th century using animal organ extracts for therapeutic purposes.
