An old small amber glass pharmaceutical bottle containing yellow mercury oxide (Hydrargyri oxydum flavum), a preparation formerly used in pharmacy, particularly in certain dermatological and ophthalmic compositions. Very well preserved with its original handwritten label and, above all, its old stopper. An interesting testament to 19th-century pharmacy preparations.
