Vintage amber glass pharmaceutical bottle from the Pharmacie Centrale de France, Charles Buchet & Cie in Paris. It contained thymol, also formerly known as thymic acid, a compound extracted from thyme and once used in pharmacy for its antiseptic and disinfectant properties. A beautiful pharmacy display piece with its original label, preserved old stopper, and traces of its former contents.
