Old amber glass pharmaceutical bottle from the Henri Pelliot & Cie pharmacy in Paris, specializing in chemical and pharmaceutical products. It contained Calomel (mercurous chloride), a mercury-based compound formerly used in pharmacy as a purgative treatment and in various medical preparations before its gradual abandonment due to the toxicity of mercury derivatives. A beautiful pharmacy specimen with its original label, its regulatory mention "Dangerous" and its old stopper preserved.
