An important French work dedicated to occultism, ceremonial magic, and esoteric sciences, P.-V. Piobb's Formulaire de Haute Magie was initially published in 1907. This copy corresponds to the new 1937 edition, completely revised and considerably expanded, published in Paris by Éditions Dangles. This version constitutes an important edition in the history of the work and is bibliographically described as a "new, partially original edition." The work gathers an abundant amount of documentation on esoteric practices: ceremonial magic, astrology, Kabbalah, cryptographic alphabets, symbolism, occult names and correspondences, pantacles, and talismans, with numerous figures, tables, and diagrams within the text. Among the most spectacular illustrations are the keys and pantacles of Solomon, alphabets attributed to the Templars, esoteric writings, and talismanic representations. This copy also features several old annotations in pencil, an interesting testament to its use and study by a previous owner.
