An old box of metal nibs produced by the famous Baignol & Farjon company in Boulogne-sur-Mer, one of France's leading manufacturers of writing instruments during the Belle Époque. This variant, with its pink and gold decoration, features particularly elegant typography accompanied by the words "Hors Concours Paris 1900", a distinction frequently highlighted by manufacturers of school and office supplies at the turn of the century. The box still contains a very significant collection of original, large, finely-pointed metal nibs, intended for flexible and expressive writing.
