Beautiful Baignol & Farjon metal nib box featuring an elegant typographical and ornamental design in blue, olive green, and ivory tones. The composition, framed with volutes and small allegorical medallions, is typical of the refined productions of the company at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The mention "144 Plumes" indicates packaging intended for schools, administrations, or stationery shops. The box still retains a significant amount of its original contents with approximately fifty-five assorted metal nibs, including several well-marked Baignol & Farjon Boulogne-sur-Mer examples.
