An old box of metal nibs from the prestigious English company John Mitchell's, an iconic Birmingham manufacturer that won awards at the great universal exhibitions of the 19th century. This No. 045 version seduces with its elegant light blue geometric decor printed on the entire box, contrasting with a large dark blue and gold label adorned with imperial medallions, exhibition mentions and a particularly refined Victorian typography. The presentation recalls the luxurious Belle Époque stationery packaging intended for writers, draftsmen and calligraphers. The box still contains over a hundred old metal nibs.
