Antique photoceramic "The Lady with Three Buttons"

Three light buttons punctuate the dark garment of this woman with her hair pulled back, photographed bust-length against a brown background. The sepia tones of the portrait match the fine gold border highlighting the white edge of the porcelain. A partially worn inscription appears on the lower rim.
