An old enameled tin sign from the P. Millier company in Lyon, specializing in weighing scales. Its black lettering on a white background combines a large serif typography for the manufacturer's name with detailed inscriptions: "Ingénieur-Constructeur" (Engineer-Constructor), "Ex-concessionnaire exclusif de Duchesne et Cie" (Former exclusive concessionaire of Duchesne et Cie), as well as the addresses of 1, rue des Roses and 19, rue Longefer. Framed by a black line and perforated at the four corners, this sign shows a marked patina that emphasizes its industrial character. An interesting piece for collectors of old scales, advertising, and the history of Lyon companies.
