Charming little gem of early advertising, this Chocolat Menier match striker features the brand’s famous imagery: on one side, the iconic little girl writing on the wall, and on the other, a stylized label reading “Avec les compliments de Messieurs Menier – 56, Rue de Châteaudun, Paris.” Designed as a match case (or vesta case), it is made of nickel-plated metal with a colored celluloid covering imitating enamel. Such pieces were offered to clients or partners as high-end promotional gifts.
