A polychrome plaster model of the human heart, designed for educational purposes, is available in a disassemblable format. It is crafted with remarkable attention to detail, particularly in the internal chambers, valves, and vascular network. This model, approximately 12 x 8 cm, is complete and marked with a system of letters and numbers indicating the different anatomical parts. It opens in two halves to reveal the interior of the ventricles, the chordae tendineae, the atrioventricular valves, and the main arteries. A hook remains at the top, suggesting it could also be hung. While patinated and chipped by time, the model remains solid and legible, with a striking visual presence.
