Baignol & Farjon, renowned for its metal nibs, also manufactured pencils in Boulogne-sur-Mer, as indicated by the inscription "Hors concours Paris 1900" (Out of Competition Paris 1900). This particular box showcases a beautiful ornamental frame and two engraved medallions symbolizing the quality and excellence of the brand.
