An elegant advertising box from the Baignol & Farjon Pencil Factory , featuring an indigo blue label with refined graphics typical of the Belle Époque. Baignol & Farjon, renowned for its metal nibs, also manufactured pencils in Boulogne-sur-Mer, as indicated by the inscription "Hors concours Paris 1900" (Out of Competition Paris 1900). This particular box showcases a beautiful ornamental frame and two engraved medallions symbolizing the quality and excellence of the brand.

✦ Origin: Baignol & Farjon, Boulogne-sur-Mer
✦ Estimated period: Circa 1900–1910
✦ Dimensions: 20 × 18.5 × 6 cm
