This vintage ink stain remover tin , a rare advertising item marketed under the name " Devil - The Perfect Ink Eater," reflects the graphic imagination of the 1930s. It depicts a demonic figure eradicating an ink stain, in a visual typical of period illustrations. Manufactured by Antoine Inks, this product removed stains from paper or white fabric using a two-solution process (red then white). Besides its attractive typography and statements such as "Product guaranteed chlorine-free," this cardboard tin still retains its legible instructions on the back. A charming and darkly humorous object, emblematic of vintage office supplies.
