Rare white glazed English earthenware pickle pot, stamped Batty & Co – London S.E., late 19th century. Black transfer decoration featuring the royal coat of arms and typical Victorian English typography.
This small baluster-shaped pot was used to contain pickles, sauces, and condiments. It is signed on the back "PATENT MUSTARD – READY FOR USE" and bears the Batty & Co. Ltd trademark.
