Superb double-sided enamel sign, likely intended for use as a currency exchange, probably marking a "change room" in an industrial or administrative setting. Its clean lines, bold typography, and white background bordered in black are typical of Belgian production from the first half of the 20th century. Made by the Van Opstal enamelworks in Mouscron, the mark is clearly visible in the lower right corner. The sign is double-sided, with the word "CHANGE" on both sides, making it ideal for surface mounting or hanging on a bracket. A rare and striking piece, perfect for loft decor, an office, or a signage collection.
