Rare bottle of the famous MIROR metal polish, bearing the inscription "War Production" on the back of the label. This transitional version, manufactured during World War II, reflects industrial rationing: "Due to a shortage of metal, we are obliged to modify our packaging." The glass bottle replaced the usual metal container. The red and ivory label features the iconic lion "Product of the Black Lion – Paris Montrouge," typical of advertising design from the 1930s and 40s. In very good condition, with the original metal cap.
✦ Origin: Lion Noir Factories, Paris – Montrouge
✦ Estimated period: Circa 1942–1944
✦ Dimensions: 17.5 x 4.5 cm
✦ Material: Glass, paper label

This bottle perfectly illustrates French industrial adaptation during the wartime economy. Its Art Deco typography label and historical inscription make it a highly sought-after collector's item in the fields of vintage advertising, shoe polish, and wax polish.
