A rare Italian postal tube covered in elegant green and beige marbled paper, addressed to M. Bernard de Germiny, École libre de la Providence, Amiens (France). The handwritten shipping label, black postmark, and 25 centesimi blue stamp depicting King Umberto I (reigned 1878–1900) date the mailing to the late 19th century. The tube is well-preserved, with its original lid and string still attached—a fascinating example of artistic or academic correspondence of the period, likely intended for sending a map or engraving from Rome.
