Antique shoe polish tin RIC et RAC – Paris Boulogne

Antique shoe polish tin RIC et RAC – Paris Boulogne

0,00 € Déjà adopté

Antique cream shoe polish tin illustrated with the famous characters Ric and Rac, two stylized dogs emblematic of French comic art from the 1920s–30s. The striking orange and black graphic design is typical of the Art Deco era, with the inscription “Crème cire idéale pour chaussures” (“Ideal wax cream for shoes”) on the lid.

This round metal tin, complete with its original hinge, is a superb example of mid-20th-century utilitarian and advertising packaging, associated here with an iconic brand produced in Paris-Boulogne (Seine).
