The inscription "PARSAC St ÉMILION" corresponds to an appellation near the famous Saint-Émilion wine, in the Libournais region. This type of stencil was used to indicate the origin of wines on shipping crates destined for merchants or for export. Beautiful industrial typography with solid capitals, antique patina, and signs of use characteristic of winery workshops.
