A small , oval, lithographed tin box that once contained mint pastilles manufactured by the Vichy Thermal Establishment, a French state-owned property. The central illustration depicts a panoramic view of the Vichy thermal complex in the 19th century, emblematic of official pharmaceutical production. The base, spine, and reverse are decorated with informative and promotional text highlighting the natural benefits of the salts extracted from the thermal waters. A rare collector's item, typical of public health products produced during the Third Republic.
