Antique box "With the Arms of Brittany", Nantes

Antique painted tin box, adorned on the lid with a printed label reading "Aux Armes de Bretagne – Mascottes – Suard & Gautier," issued at 9 rue de la Fosse in Nantes. The decoration features a crowned coat of arms with ermine spots, accompanied by decorative scrolls and elegant typography typical of the late 19th and very early 20th centuries. This type of packaging was intended for haberdashery, perfumes, accessories, or small manufactured items, often given as promotional or loyalty gifts.
