Very attractive antique box of Johann Faber colored pencils, featuring superb Art Nouveau typographical and ornamental decoration in burgundy and gold tones. This elegant lithographed case was intended for artistic drawings and still contains 12 colored pencils. Four pencils are original Johann Faber with visible gold markings, the others having been replaced by another brand. The set retains a very beautiful decorative presence and strong graphic interest, typical of Belle Époque art supplies. An attractive piece for collectors of antique stationery as well as for lovers of decorative objects related to drawing and graphic arts.
