An antique lithographed tin advertising box for L'Ébène , a furniture polish and protectant. The lid features a distinctive graphic illustration of a stylized black head surrounded by a red glow, with the name L'ÉBÈNE in large gold letters. The rim of the box is inscribed "First-Choice Turpentine Essence," while a cartouche provides instructions for using the product on waxed wood. Another side lists the manufacturer , Ets Mazelaygue, 91 rue Camille Godard, Bordeaux .
