The lid features a simple yet effective design, typical of French technical products from the interwar period, with the inscription "Extra Quality." The inside of the lid bears the IDPM (Powder and Materials Tax) mark, "Single Tax," indicating regulated sales in France and allowing for a consistent dating to the first half of the 20th century. A representative object of gunsmithing and hunting accessories of its era.
