The richly ornamented decoration, typical of the Belle Époque, combines cartouches, ribbons, and elegant typography on a gold background, with the inscription "Déposé" (Registered) and the printer's signature, Fer-Embal. The reverse side highlights the lozenges' soothing properties for the throat and recommends them to smokers, a common practice at the time for this type of medicinal lozenge.
