An antique Audax cigarillo box, made of printed cardboard predominantly in ochre and gold, adorned with a Renaissance-inspired female portrait in a central medallion. The meticulous design, late Art Nouveau typography, and the inscription "Manufacture de cigares fins – Fondée en 1820" (Fine Cigar Factory – Founded in 1820) link this production to Belgian manufacturers active at the beginning of the 20th century. The visible tax markings ("10 Audax – Légère" [10 Audax – Light], "FC Prix 40 c. Maximum" [FC Price 40 c. Maximum]) correspond to the taxation and control system in place before the interwar tax reforms, allowing for a consistent dating.
