Beautiful French box of J.B. Mallat metal nibs with a particularly elegant red and gold typographic design, typical of the Belle Époque. This "Triple Perçage Extra Souple" (Triple Drilling Extra Flexible) model, designed for extra-fine nibs, perfectly illustrates the refinement of writing accessories from the turn of the century. The box still contains about 50 original nibs, with their superb lanceolate silhouette and characteristic triple drilling promoting writing flexibility. A very decorative set, sought after by collectors of antique calligraphy, stationery, and writing instruments.
