Sealed box of "Elefant X 1918" nibs, Circa 1930

An antique tin box of "Elefant" brand metal nibs, with particularly successful advertising graphics depicting an elephant holding a nib in its trunk. The modernist red, black, and gray design evokes interwar school and stationery products. The presented example is still sealed with its original paper band, which is becoming rare for this type of consumable usually opened and then used. The mention "il più resistente" ("the most resistant" in Italian) suggests distribution for the Italian market or Italian export.
