Beautiful antique box made of lithographed tin from the famous Scottish company Macniven & Cameron Ltd, manufacturer of Waverley Pen nibs, in Edinburgh and Birmingham. The lid features a particularly elegant red, cream, and black advertising design, with a central printed portrait and an illustration of a nib. The box still contains a significant stock of original metal nibs, which makes it an interesting collector's item, both decorative and historical. An emblematic set of British writing supplies from the early 20th century.
