Old metal nib box "Des Écoles" published by Blanzy Poure & Cie in Boulogne-sur-Mer, still containing about fifty original nibs. This model was intended for common school use - a robust and versatile nib, designed for learning ink writing in French schools during the Belle Époque. The box features an elegant sepia brown label with the exhibition medals of the Blanzy Poure company. The nibs marked "DES ÉCOLES" bear witness to this now-disappeared school world, made of penholders, inkwells, and calligraphy notebooks.
