Charming old lithographed tin advertising box produced for Dutch Bensdorp cocoa from Amsterdam. Its richly illustrated decoration combines floral compositions, cocoa preparation scenes, pod harvesting, and colonial iconography typical of the Belle Époque. Intended for the French-speaking market, it retains its original French inscriptions and is a fine example of the golden age of European food advertising. Despite significant oxidation due to its use, the colors remain attractive and the graphics are perfectly identifiable.
