This old lithographed tin box was designed to hold a sterilized grease used during milking to protect the milker's hands and preserve udder health. Its red and cream decoration depicts a rural scene with a dairy cow and a milker, an emblematic illustration of French agricultural advertising from the interwar period. The inside of the lid retains its printed instructions, while the address "154 Boulevard Haussmann, Paris" attests to the product's national distribution. The presence of the original contents further enhances the interest of this example.
