The elegant typographic design highlights the Remington Letter Books and Remington Carbons brands, with promotional text extolling the quality of the carbon paper and ribbons, as well as a red medallion depicting a typewriter. The inscription "Patented Mar. 25, 1902" printed on one side dates the production to after this date, in the very early 20th century, the golden age of the typewriter and American office automation.
