A metal advertising pyrotechnic tin for the famous "Fructines-Vichy," laxative and digestive candies sold in pharmacies in the early 20th century. The lithographed lid features a detailed advertising message extolling the cure for constipation and its consequences. The side is fitted with abrasive rollers bearing the inscription "VICHY," serving as a striking surface for matches. The interior contained a few pocket matches. This type of promotional item was distributed as a small advertising gadget in pharmacies and shops.
